THEME: THE LORD WANTS TO LEAD YOU!
TEXT: [NKJV] PSALM 23:1-2
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. [2] He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters."

In our focal scripture for today, the psalm begins with a profound declaration: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want." This statement reveals the confidence of someone who understands the responsibility of a shepherd towards his sheep. A shepherd provides, protects, guides, watches over, and ensures that his sheep are not left helpless. By identifying the Lord as his Shepherd, David establishes that his confidence is not in his personal abilities or resources but in God's commitment to take care of him. Beloved, when the Lord is your Shepherd, you have no reason to live as though you are abandoned to the uncertainties of life. His leadership guarantees that you are not without direction, His provision assures you that you are not without supply, and His presence reminds you that you are never alone. This does not mean that you will never encounter challenges, but it means that you have a Shepherd who knows how to guide you through every season.

Interestingly, the Bible says, "He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters." Notice the expressions: He makes me and He leads me. These words reveal that God is intentional about the quality and direction of your life. He knows where you need to be, what you need, when you need it, and how to bring you into the right experiences. Green pastures represent nourishment, abundance, rest, and an environment where the sheep can flourish. Still waters represent peace, refreshment, and an atmosphere free from unnecessary agitation. In other words, the Shepherd does not simply move His sheep around; He leads them into places where their needs can be met and their lives can be sustained.

Beloved, the Lord wants to lead you, He wants to guide you away from avoidable mistakes, preserve you from destructive decisions, connect you with the right people, and position you for the fulfilment of His purposes. His leading is an expression of His love, and His instructions are pathways to the experiences He has prepared for you. Your responsibility is to trust Him enough to follow, even when you do not have the full picture. You may not understand every instruction immediately, but you can always trust the wisdom of the One who sees the end from the beginning. Therefore, stop struggling to figure everything out by yourself. Let the Lord take the lead. When He leads, you are never stranded; when He directs, you are never without purpose; and when He shepherds you, you can confidently trust Him to supply what you need for the journey.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word.
Father, I thank You for being my Shepherd.
Father, Help me to recognize Your voice, trust Your instructions, and faithfully follow Your leading.
Father, Let my decisions and daily activities be guided by Your wisdom, and lead me into the places You have prepared for me, in Jesus' name. Amen.

Faith Avenue With Oladele Tobiloba Emmanuel As He Shares Insight On "When The Steps Of Your Helpers Are Ordered".

THEME: WHEN THE STEPS OF YOUR HELPERS ARE ORDERED!
TEXT: [NKJV] JOHN 5:6
"When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?"

There are situations in life where personal efforts, qualifications, connections and human strength may not be sufficient to produce the desired outcome. At such moments, God can orchestrate circumstances and order the steps of people whose involvement will become instrumental to your next level. The story of the man at the pool of Bethesda gives us a remarkable illustration of this truth. This man had been in his condition for thirty-eight years. He was surrounded by people, yet he lacked the assistance he desperately needed. Whenever the water was stirred, someone else would get ahead of him. His situation was not just a physical limitation; it was also a prolonged experience of helplessness and disappointment. However, something extraordinary happened on a particular day. Jesus showed up. Interestingly, the man did not have to find Jesus. Jesus found him! He did not have to negotiate his way into the presence of the One who could change his story. Divine arrangement brought the Saviour directly to his location.

This reveals an important dimension of divine help: When God orders the steps of your helpers, they will find their way to where you are, even when you do not have the capacity to reach where they are. There are people whose arrival in your life will mark the beginning of a new chapter. They may come with the information you need, the opportunity you have been praying for, the resources required for your next assignment, the recommendation that opens an important door, or the support that helps you overcome a longstanding limitation. However, the most important thing is that their steps must be ordered by God. Not everyone who comes into your life is assigned to facilitate your destiny. Therefore, you must learn to depend on God's leading rather than become desperate for human connections.

When your helpers are divinely positioned, you will not necessarily have to struggle to convince them to fulfil their God-ordained roles. God knows how to touch hearts, create opportunities and establish connections that align with His purposes. When God orders the steps of your helpers, distance will not be a barrier, your limitations will not be a disadvantage, and the duration of your waiting will not frustrate His purpose. The same God who brought Jesus to the pool of Bethesda is able to arrange divine encounters that will change your story. Therefore, keep trusting God, remain faithful to your assignment, follow His instructions and stay prepared for the opportunities He brings your way. Your next testimony may be connected to someone whose steps God is already ordering towards you.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word.
Father, In the name of Jesus, order the steps of my divinely appointed helpers towards me.
Father, Connect me with the right people whose involvement will facilitate the fulfilment of Your purpose for my life.
Father, Let every divinely orchestrated encounter produce outstanding testimonies, in Jesus' name. Amen.

THEME: GOD'S LEADING IS A BLESSING!
TEXT: [NKJV] GENESIS 12:1-2
"Now the LORD had said to Abram: "Get out of your country, From your family And from your father's house, To a land that I will show you. [2] I will make you a great nation; I will bless you And make your name great; And you shall be a blessing."

When God leads, He does not only guide you towards a destination; He also prepares you for the blessings, opportunities, responsibilities and divine purposes attached to that destination. In our anchor scripture, God instructed Abram to leave his country, his family and his father's house for a land He would show him. Interestingly, God did not give Abram a complete description of the destination before asking him to embark on the journey. He simply gave him an instruction and attached extraordinary promises to it. God promised to make him a great nation, bless him, make his name great and make him a blessing to others. This reveals an important truth: Sometimes, God's instructions will demand that you move before you have all the details you desire. His leading may not always come with a complete explanation, but it will always be accompanied by His wisdom, knowledge and ability to direct you towards His intended purpose.

Beloved, never assume that every familiar environment is where God intends you to remain. There are seasons when obedience requires you to leave certain places, relationships, mindsets, habits and opportunities behind. This does not mean that everything familiar is necessarily bad; rather, it means that God's purpose must take precedence over personal comfort and familiarity. Furthermore, God's leading requires faith and obedience. Abram had to trust the One who called him, even when he did not know all that lay ahead. His willingness to obey became a significant part of his journey into God's covenant promises. In the same way, you cannot fully enjoy the blessings attached to divine direction while consistently resisting divine instructions.

Never allow the uncertainty of the journey to make you question the faithfulness of the One leading you. You may not understand every instruction immediately, but you can trust God's wisdom. His leading will never be a disadvantage to you. Even when the process requires patience, sacrifice or a departure from your comfort zone, remain sensitive to His voice and committed to His instructions. Remember, the blessing is not only in where God is taking you; the blessing is also in being led by Him. When God directs your steps, you are positioned to experience His purpose, enjoy His provision and become a blessing to your generation. Therefore, don't just pray for God to bless your destination; pray for Him to direct your journey. A life guided by God is a life positioned for the fulfilment of divine purpose.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word.
Father, Grant me the grace to recognise Your voice, obey Your instructions and follow Your leading without hesitation.
Father, Let every step I take align with Your divine purpose for my life, and make me a blessing to my generation, in Jesus' name. Amen.

THEME: INSPIRED THOUGHTS, AUDACIOUS MOVES!
TEXT: [NKJV] MARK 5:27-29
"When she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. [28] For she said, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." [29] Immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up, and she felt in her body that she was healed of the affliction."

In our anchor scripture, we encounter a woman who had suffered from an issue of blood for twelve years. She had spent all she had seeking medical solutions, endured much suffering, and experienced disappointment from the very people and systems she expected to help her. Yet, her situation was about to change because she received information about Jesus and allowed that information to inspire an unusual thought. The Bible records that when she heard about Jesus, she came behind Him in the crowd and touched His garment. Interestingly, before she made that audacious move, something significant had already happened in her mind. She said to herself, "If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." Her confession revealed the conviction she had developed through what she heard about Jesus. This teaches us that inspired thoughts are capable of producing audacious moves, and audacious moves can become the turning point of remarkable testimonies.

Always understand that what you hear has the potential to influence what you believe and ultimately determine what you do. This woman heard about Jesus, and the information she received gave birth to a possibility in her heart. What she heard changed her perception of what was possible. She had suffered for twelve years, but she refused to allow twelve years of disappointment to silence her expectation of a miracle. Beloved, be intentional about the information you expose your heart to. There are thoughts that will strengthen your faith, inspire possibilities, and awaken your courage to take steps you would ordinarily consider impossible. When you consistently feed on God's Word, you position your mind to receive thoughts that are consistent with His promises and purposes for your life.

Beloved, God can inspire your heart with ideas, instructions, possibilities, and opportunities that will require courage to pursue. Do not despise the thoughts that align with His Word. Do not allow fear to paralyze you when He gives you direction. Be courageous enough to take the necessary steps of faith. Your next testimony may be connected to the instruction you obey, the opportunity you pursue, or the audacious move you make in response to divine inspiration. Remember, inspired thoughts must produce corresponding actions. Don't just think it; take the necessary step!

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word.
Father, Inspire my heart with thoughts that are consistent with Your Word.
Father, Give me the courage to take audacious steps of faith that will lead me into the fulfilment of Your promises for my life, in Jesus' name. Amen!

THEME: RETURN TO YOUR FORTRESS!
TEXT: [NIV] ZECHARIAH 9:12
"Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you."

In our anchor Scripture, God gives a powerful instruction: "Return to your fortress, O prisoners of hope." A fortress is a place of protection, security and defence. Spiritually, God Himself is our fortress. He is our hiding place, our strong tower and our refuge in times of trouble. Therefore, returning to our fortress means returning to God, trusting His Word, embracing His promises and refusing to allow the circumstances of life to separate us from our confidence in Him. Notice that God addresses His people as prisoners of hope. What a remarkable description! A prisoner is someone held by something, but in this context, God's people are held by hope. This means that regardless of their experiences, they must never surrender their expectation of God's intervention. They may be surrounded by challenges, but their hearts must remain anchored in God's faithfulness. They may experience temporary setbacks, but they must never conclude that their story is over.

Beloved, hope is not the denial of reality; it is the refusal to allow present realities to determine the outcome of your future. When you are a prisoner of hope, disappointment cannot permanently destroy your expectation, delay cannot make you abandon God's promises, and adversity cannot convince you that God has forgotten you. Your confidence is not in what you see but in the integrity of the One who has promised. Furthermore, God declares in the same Scripture: "Even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you." This reveals the restorative nature of God. He is not only interested in bringing His people out of difficult situations; He is also able to restore what has been lost and compensate them beyond their expectations. What appears to be a season of loss does not have to become the conclusion of your story.

Perhaps you have wandered away from the place of prayer, abandoned your confidence in God's promises, become discouraged by unanswered questions or allowed the pressures of life to weaken your spiritual commitment. This is God's invitation to return to your fortress. Return to the place where your faith is strengthened, where your hope is renewed and where your confidence in His Word is restored. Your fortress is still standing, His promises remain dependable, and His power has not diminished. Your responsibility is to return to Him and remain a prisoner of hope. Refuse to give up on God because He has not given up on you. Keep believing, keep trusting, keep praying and keep holding firmly to His Word. The God who promises restoration is faithful to fulfil His promises. Return to your fortress, for restoration is still possible, and God is able to do exceedingly beyond what you have lost or imagined.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for being my fortress, refuge and hiding place.
Father, Help me never to lose my confidence in You, regardless of the circumstances surrounding my life. Father, Renew my hope, strengthen my faith and restore everything I have lost according to Your will.
Father, Let my life become a testimony of Your restorative power, in Jesus' name. Amen.

THEME: THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE! [1]
TEXT: [NKJV] 2 CORINTHIANS 10:4
"For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds."

Every believer must understand that the Christian journey is not merely a physical adventure but also a spiritual journey that requires spiritual weapons. There are battles in life that cannot be won by human intelligence, physical strength, financial resources, or connections alone. Some challenges require us to engage the spiritual provisions God has made available to us through Christ Jesus. In 2 Corinthians 10:4, the Apostle Paul reveals a fundamental truth about spiritual warfare: the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds. This means that God has equipped His children with supernatural resources to confront spiritual opposition, overcome destructive thought patterns, and dismantle everything that stands against the knowledge and purposes of God.

One of the weapons of our warfare as believers is the Word of God. The Word of God is not merely a collection of inspiring statements; it is a spiritual weapon that equips us to confront deception, resist temptation, and stand firm in difficult seasons. When Satan tempted Jesus in the wilderness, our Lord responded with the Word of God. Three times, He declared, "It is written," demonstrating the power of standing on divine truth in the face of temptation. Ephesians 6:17 describes the Word of God as the sword of the Spirit. This means that believers must become students of Scripture, allowing God's truth to shape their thinking, strengthen their convictions, and direct their actions.

When fear tells you that you cannot succeed, God's Word reminds you that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). When circumstances suggest that God has abandoned you, His Word assures you that He will never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Beloved, you cannot effectively wield a weapon you have not learned to use. Therefore, to make use of the Word as a weapon of warfare, you have to study it, meditate on it, believe it, and apply it. Your victory in every warfare begins with your willingness to stand on what God has spoken.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for the revelation of Your Word.
Father, I thank You for the power of Your Word.
Father, Help me to remain steadfast and committed to the study of Your Word.
Father, Whenever I wield Your Word as a weapon of warfare, let me continually walk in the victory Christ has won for me, in Jesus' name. Amen.

THEME: A NEW THING, A NEW CHANCE!
TEXT: [NKJV] ISAIAH 43:19
"Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert."

One of the most beautiful realities of walking with God is that your past does not have the power to determine your future. No matter what you have experienced, how many opportunities you have missed, or how many times you have failed, God is able to introduce something new into your life. With God, there is always the possibility of a new beginning, a fresh opportunity, and a better tomorrow. When God decides to do a new thing, your past limitations cannot stop His present operation. In our anchor Scripture, God declares His intention to do a new thing for His people. He speaks of making a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. These two illustrations describe situations that appear impossible to human reasoning. A wilderness is a place where finding a clear path can be difficult, while a desert is a place where water is scarce. Yet, God promises to create a way where there seems to be no way and provide a supply where there appears to be none.

This reveals the extraordinary nature of God's ability. He is not limited by the circumstances that limit humanity. What appears impossible to you may be an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power. Where you see a dead end, God can create a new path. Where you see emptiness, He can introduce abundance. Where you see a failed attempt, He can grant you another opportunity to rise again. Beloved, a new thing from God often comes with a new chance to experience His faithfulness. Perhaps you have made mistakes that you deeply regret. Perhaps you once had an opportunity that you failed to maximize. Maybe you have experienced disappointment in your career, ministry, academics, relationships, finances, or personal development. You may even have reached a point where you feel that time is running out and your chances are disappearing.

The God who makes a way in the wilderness can lead you into a future you could not have created by your own strength. Today, open your heart to God's leading. Ask Him for wisdom to recognize new opportunities, courage to take the necessary steps, humility to learn from past mistakes, and grace to remain faithful throughout the process. Your next opportunity may require a different approach. Your next season may demand greater discipline. Your next assignment may stretch your faith. Whatever the case, be willing to grow, trust God's direction, and act when the time comes. The past may explain some of your experiences, but it does not have to dictate every chapter of your future. In Christ, you can receive forgiveness, grow in wisdom, and move forward with renewed hope. A new thing is possible, and with God, a new chance can become the beginning of a remarkable testimony.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You because You are the God of new beginnings.
Father, I ask that You open my eyes to recognize the new things You are doing around me.
Father, Give me the wisdom to discern Your direction, the courage to embrace new opportunities, and the grace to obey Your instructions.
Father, please turn my disappointments into lessons, my weaknesses into opportunities for growth, and my seasons of waiting into periods of preparation.
Father, Make a way for me where there seems to be no way. Lead me through every wilderness experience and sustain me through every dry season.
Father, Help me not to miss the doors You are opening because I am too focused on the doors that have closed.
Father, Let my life become a testimony of Your restoring power, unfailing mercy, and transforming grace.
