THEME: IS HE YOUR GOD?
TEXT: [NLT] ISAIAH 41:10
"Don't be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand."

There is a difference between knowing about God and having a personal relationship with Him. Many people know that God exists, believe in His power, and even call upon Him when they encounter difficulties. However, the important question is this: Is He truly your God? In Isaiah 41:10, God gives His people an assurance of His presence, strength, help, and sustaining power. He declares, "Do not be dismayed, for I am your God." Notice that God's promises are connected to His declaration of a personal relationship with His people. He does not merely say, "I am God"; He says, "I am your God." To call God your God goes beyond acknowledging His existence. It means recognising His authority over your life, trusting in His faithfulness, submitting to His instructions, and maintaining a personal relationship with Him. It means allowing Him to be Lord over your decisions, ambitions, relationships, and daily activities.

If you truly want God to help you, strengthen you, and uphold you, you must acknowledge Him as your God by making Jesus Christ your Lord and Saviour. Through Jesus Christ, we are reconciled to God and brought into a relationship with Him. John 1:12 declares that those who receive Christ and believe in His name are given the right to become children of God. God's promise in Isaiah 41:10 addresses some of the greatest challenges human beings face: fear, discouragement, weakness, and the need for support. He promises His presence when you feel alone, His strength when you feel weak, His help when you are overwhelmed, and His sustaining power when life's circumstances threaten to bring you down. God desires a personal relationship with you. He does not want you to relate to Him only as someone who can solve your problems. He wants you to know Him, love Him, honour Him, and walk in fellowship with Him.

Beloved, do not allow your relationship with God to be built solely on the expectation of receiving blessings. Build your relationship with Him because He is God and deserves your love, worship, obedience, and devotion.
If you have not received Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, today is an opportunity to begin a personal relationship with Him. If you already belong to Christ, examine your walk with Him. Are you trusting Him wholeheartedly? Does your life reflect your submission to His authority? The greatest assurance is not merely knowing that God can help you; it is knowing that you belong to Him and can depend on His faithfulness. So, before you ask whether God will help you, strengthen you, or uphold you, consider this question: IS HE YOUR GOD?

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for Your promise to be with me, strengthen me, help me, and uphold me with Your victorious right hand.
Lord Jesus, I acknowledge You as my Lord and Saviour. Help me to grow in my relationship with You and to live in complete obedience to Your Word.
Father, Deliver me from fear, discouragement, and dependence on my own strength.
Father, Teach me to trust You in every situation and to recognise Your presence even when I cannot understand what You are doing.
