DIVINE CONNECTION DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY OLADELE T•E
THEME: NO ONE CAN HEAL YOU LIKE GOD CAN!
TEXT: [NLT] EXODUS 15:26
"If you will listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his sight, obeying his commands and laws, then I will not make you suffer the diseases I sent on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."

After bringing the Israelites out of Egypt, God revealed Himself to them as Jehovah-Rapha which means "the LORD who heals". This revelation was not accidental. God wanted His people to understand that their health, preservation, restoration, and wellbeing were ultimately in His hands. The statement, “I am the LORD who heals you,” is a powerful declaration of God's character. Healing is not merely something God does; He is the Healer. People may disappoint you, but God will never fail you. Doctors may help administer treatment, but God remains the ultimate source of healing. Friends may encourage you, but God can restore the strength that discouragement has taken away. Resources may provide access to solutions, but God is the One who gives life and sustains it. God's concern for His people is not limited to their spiritual lives. He cares about their bodies, minds, emotions, relationships, families, and destinies.

There may be areas of your life that you have tried repeatedly to repair without success. You may have tried to heal from a painful experience. You may have tried to recover from disappointment. You may have tried to rebuild something that was broken. You may have tried everything within your power to change a situation. But there comes a point where you must acknowledge that your ability has limits, but God's ability does not. What you cannot repair, God can restore. What you cannot reverse, God can redeem. What you cannot understand, God can work together for your good. What has been wounded can receive healing in His hands. Never allow the complexity of your situation to make you underestimate the power of God.

One of the greatest mistakes we can make during difficult seasons is to magnify the problem until it becomes bigger in our minds than God. Yes, the situation may be serious. Yes, the pain may be real. Yes, the waiting may be difficult. Yes, you may need professional help, medical attention, wise counsel, or practical intervention. But none of these things should make you forget that God remains the ultimate source of your hope. Use the help God provides, but put your ultimate confidence in God. Seek the right treatment, but trust the Healer. Listen to wise counsel, but remain sensitive to God's voice. Take responsible steps, but never remove God from the equation. Take your pain to Him. Take your fears to Him. Take your disappointments to Him. Take your weakness to Him. Take your questions to Him. Take your entire life to Him. He is not intimidated by the condition you are in, and He is not overwhelmed by the complexity of your situation.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You because You are the LORD who heals me. I surrender every wounded, broken, weak, and troubled area of my life to You.
Father, Give me grace to listen to Your voice, obey Your instructions, and walk in Your ways.
Father, Heal me where I need healing, restore what has been damaged, strengthen what has become weak, and revive what has become lifeless.
Father, Help me to trust You completely and never allow my situation to become greater than my confidence in You.
Father, Let Your healing power bring restoration into every area of my life, in Jesus' name. Amen.
