THEME: THE LORD IS ALWAYS ACTIVE!
TEXT: [NKJV] ISAIAH 59:1
"Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, That it cannot save; Nor His ear heavy, That it cannot hear."
There are moments in life when it may appear as though God has become inactive concerning our situations. You may have prayed, waited, believed, cried, fasted, and still wonder why the answer has not yet manifested. At such moments, the enemy may try to convince you that God is no longer paying attention. But Isaiah 59:1 gives us a powerful assurance: the Lord's hand has not become too short to save, neither has His ear become too heavy to hear. In other words, God is not powerless, unavailable, distracted, tired, or indifferent.
Sometimes, God may seem silent, but He is never absent. Sometimes, you may not understand what He is doing, but that does not mean He is doing nothing. God is always active, even when His activity is not immediately visible. Human beings can become tired. Human resources can become exhausted. Connections can fail. Opportunities can disappear. Strength can diminish. But God never runs out of power. He does not become weak because He has performed many miracles. He does not become tired because many people are calling upon Him. He does not become overwhelmed by the number of problems presented before Him. There is no shortage of power in heaven. The God who is working in one person's life is not too occupied to work in yours. His hand is not limited to one family, one nation, one generation, or one situation.
Beloved, whatever you are presently facing, do not conclude that God is inactive. When you cannot trace His hand, continue to trust His heart. When you cannot see immediate changes, continue to believe His Word. When the answer seems delayed, remember that delay does not mean denial. The Lord is always active, and His hand is still at work. Perhaps He is working in ways you cannot yet understand. Perhaps He is preparing something greater than what you have asked for. Perhaps He is strengthening you for what is ahead. Perhaps He is arranging circumstances that will eventually produce a testimony. Therefore, refuse to give up. Your situation has not exceeded God's power. Your cry has not escaped God's hearing. Your life has not been forgotten by heaven. The Lord's hand is not shortened. The Lord's ear is not heavy. THE LORD IS ALWAYS ACTIVE.
PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You because Your hand is not shortened and Your ear is not heavy.
Father, Deliver me from every doubt or fear that suggests You have forgotten or abandoned me in times of difficulty.
Father, Sharpen my spiritual perception to recognize Your active work in every area of my life, even when answers are not immediately visible.
Father, stretch forth Your powerful hand and grant supernatural intervention in every lingering situation in my life today.
