THEME: OBVIOUS EVIDENCE OF GOD'S FAVOR!
TEXT: [NKJV] GENESIS 39:3-4
"And his master saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand. [4] So Joseph found favor in his sight, and served him. Then he made him overseer of his house, and all that he had he put under his authority."
One of the undeniable evidence of God's favor upon a person's life is that the hand of God becomes visible in the results of that person's life. Joseph was a slave, yet he carried the favor of God. He was in a foreign land, separated from his family, stripped of his coat of many colors, and placed under the authority of another man. Naturally speaking, Joseph had every reason to be disadvantaged. Yet, in the midst of his unfavorable circumstances, God's favor distinguished him!
The Bible says that Joseph's master “saw that the LORD was with him and that the LORD made all he did to prosper in his hand.” Notice that Potiphar did not merely hear Joseph testify that God was with him; he saw the evidence. Beloved, when the favor of God is genuinely at work in your life, there will be results that cannot easily be explained by human ability alone. People may not understand the source of your advantage, but they will recognize that there is something different about your life.
The evidence of God's favor can become so obvious that even those who do not know your God will acknowledge that His hand is upon you. This teaches us something powerful: God's favor is not dependent on a favorable environment. God's favor can make you flourish even in an unfavorable situation. Perhaps you are currently in a place where you feel unnoticed, restricted, or disadvantaged. Always remember that When the favor of God is upon your life, His presence will produce evidence that even others cannot deny.
PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for Your favor upon my life. Let Your presence become evident through the works of my hands.
Father, Cause everything I do according to Your will to prosper.
Father, Give me the grace to remain faithful, diligent, and excellent in every assignment entrusted to me.
Father, Let Your favor distinguish me, connect me with the right people, and position me for divine promotion.
