DIVINE CONNECTION DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY OLADELE T•E
THEME: YOUR FAITH IS THE KEY TO YOUR RESTORATION!
TEXT: [AMP] MARK 5:34
"And He said to her, Daughter, your faith (your trust and confidence in Me, springing from faith in God) has restored you to health. Go in (into) peace and be continually healed and freed from your [distressing bodily] disease."

There are moments in life when restoration is desperately needed. Sometimes, it may be the restoration of health, peace, strength, joy, opportunities, relationships, finances, confidence, or even hope. The good news is that God is still a God of restoration, and one of the major keys that positions a person to receive what God has provided is FAITH. The woman in Mark 5 had suffered from an issue of blood for twelve long years. She had spent all she had on physicians, yet rather than getting better, her condition had worsened. Humanly speaking, she had every reason to lose hope. But when she heard about Jesus, something changed within her. She believed that an encounter with Him could change her story.

The Bible in Mark 5:28 says: “For she said, ‘If only I may touch His clothes, I shall be made well." Notice that before she touched Jesus, she first believed. Her restoration began with faith in her heart. She trusted in the power of Jesus and acted upon that trust. And when Jesus discovered what had happened, He said to her: “Daughter, your faith has restored you to health.” Her faith became the key that connected her to the restoring power of God. Beloved, faith is more than merely wishing for something to happen. Faith is trust and confidence in God that produces a corresponding response. Faith takes God at His Word. Faith believes what God has said even when present circumstances appear to say otherwise.

The woman could have remained at home and concluded that nothing could change after twelve years of suffering. She could have allowed disappointment, previous failures, and medical reports to determine her expectations. But she refused to allow her painful past to destroy her faith in God. She believed. She spoke. She acted. And she was restored. Perhaps there are areas of your life that have been damaged, delayed, weakened, or lost. Maybe you have prayed for a long time and have not yet seen the complete manifestation of what you are trusting God for. The same Jesus who restored the woman in our text has not changed. His power has not diminished. His ability has not expired. What you need is not to place your confidence in your circumstances, feelings, past experiences, or the opinions of people. Put your trust in God.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You because You are the God of restoration.
Today, I place my complete trust and confidence in You. Every area of my life that needs restoration, I bring before You.
Father, Restore my health, peace, joy, strength, hope, and everything that has been damaged or lost according to Your perfect will.
