THEME: THE THOUGHTS THAT GOD IS THINKING TOWARDS YOU!
TEXT: [NKJV] JEREMIAH 29:11
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."
In moments of uncertainty, life often pushes us to question what the future holds. We tend to measure God's disposition toward us through the lens of our current circumstances. However, our foundational text reveals a profound truth: God’s posture toward you is not dictated by your present anxiety, but by His eternal, intentional design. Notice the confidence in God's statement: "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you..." Before you ever began worrying about your career, your family, your health, or your spiritual growth, God was already thinking about you. You are not an afterthought in the universe. His plans are deliberate, tailored, and active.
The word peace used here translates to Shalom in Hebrew which signifies completeness, soundness, welfare, and total well-being. God is not plotting your downfall, nor is He using your past mistakes to destroy your future. His blueprint for your life is fundamentally designed for your ultimate good, even when the current chapter feels challenging. The ultimate destination of God's plan is to give you an expected end which is a future anchored in secure hope.
While human plans can fail and earthly promises often fade, God’s intentional thoughts secure your destiny. Today, stop judging God's love by temporary troubles. Trust His long-term blueprint. Meditate on the truth that God’s intentions toward you are designed for peace and spiritual wholeness. When anxiety about tomorrow arises, ensure you counter it with the assurance of Jeremiah 29:11.
PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You because my life is securely in Your hands.
Father, Thank You for thinking thoughts of peace, welfare, and goodness toward me.
I reject every spirit of anxiety, fear, and uncertainty about my tomorrow.
