THEME: KEPT FROM COMPLETE DESTRUCTION!
TEXT: [NLT] LAMENTATION 3:22
The unfailing love of the LORD never ends! By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction."

We often thank God for the blessings we can see, but there are also countless dangers, disappointments, tragedies, attacks, mistakes, and consequences from which His mercy has preserved us. The truth is that we are not standing today merely because we were strong, careful, wise, or experienced. We are standing because the mercy of God has kept us. Jeremiah made this powerful declaration in the midst of a season of deep distress: “By his mercies we have been kept from complete destruction.” The circumstances around him were terrible, yet he recognized that the existence of mercy meant that destruction had not had the final word. This is an important spiritual perspective: what could have destroyed you did not destroy you because God's mercy intervened.

There are battles you never knew you were in. There are dangers you never saw coming. There are doors that closed because God was protecting you. There are relationships that ended because God knew what you could not see. There are disappointments that appeared painful at the time but later became evidence of divine preservation. Sometimes, God's mercy does not look like receiving what you requested; sometimes, it looks like being preserved from what would have ruined you. You may have experienced moments when you thought, “How did I survive that?” The answer is simple: mercy!

You may have made mistakes that could have produced devastating consequences, yet somehow God gave you another opportunity. You may have passed through situations that should have broken you completely, yet you are still here, still believing, still praying, still moving forward. That is not something to take for granted. God's mercy has been working in your life even when you were unaware of it. You are a product of God's mercy. So, let your heart respond with gratitude. Give God praise not only for what He has given you, but also for what He has kept away from you. Thank Him for the accidents you escaped, the dangers you never knew about, the battles you survived, the wrong decisions He rescued you from, and the destruction He did not allow to consume you. Indeed, if it had not been for the Lord's mercy, your story could have been different.

PRAYER POINTS:
Father, I thank You for Your unfailing love and enduring mercy over my life. Thank You for preserving me from dangers I saw and those I never knew existed.
Father, I Thank You for keeping me from destruction, rescuing me from situations that could have consumed me, and giving me another opportunity to fulfil Your purpose for my life.
Father, Let Your mercy continue to speak for me. Preserve my life, my family, my destiny, my purpose, and everything You have entrusted into my hands.
Father, Keep me from every evil that would truncate Your plan for my life.
Father, Where I have made mistakes, let Your mercy prevail. Where I have been weak, strengthen me. Where I have gone in the wrong direction, redirect my steps. Father, Let Your unfailing love continually surround me.
