DIVINE CONNECTION DAILY DEVOTIONAL BY OLADELE T•E
THEME: PRAISE ACTIVATES SPIRITUAL BLESSING!
TEXT: [NKJV] EPHESIANS 1:3
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."

Praise is more than a verbal expression of admiration for God; it is a spiritual response to the revelation of who God is, what He has done, and what He has made available to us in Christ. When we understand the magnitude of God's blessings, our hearts naturally respond with thanksgiving and praise. Paul begins Ephesians 1:3 by saying, “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Notice that before he begins to enumerate the blessings believers have received in Christ, he first blesses God. This reveals an important spiritual principle: a heart that recognizes God's blessings should become a mouth that praises God. The amazing truth is that God has already blessed us “with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ.” Our blessings are not merely earthly or material. In Christ, we have access to spiritual realities that cannot be purchased with money or obtained through human connections.

We have redemption through His blood, forgiveness of sins, adoption into God's family, acceptance in the Beloved, access to His grace, the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit, divine wisdom, spiritual inheritance, and the assurance of God's eternal purpose for our lives. These blessings are rooted in our position in Christ. Praise, therefore, becomes a powerful expression of our faith in what God has done and what He has made available to us. When you praise God, you are not trying to convince Him to become good to you. You are acknowledging His goodness. You are not praising Him because everything around you is perfect; you are praising Him because He remains God, faithful, sovereign, and good regardless of your circumstances.
This is why praise is so powerful.

Praise does not create the blessing; God has already provided the blessing in Christ. Praise activates your awareness, expression, and appropriation of what God has made available. The more you understand your spiritual inheritance in Christ, the more your mouth will become filled with praise. Paul did not say that God might bless us with every spiritual blessing. He said that God “has blessed us.” When you praise God, every spiritual blessing you have been blessed with will be activated and you will begin to bask in the reality of the blessing. As you continue to walk in praise this month, may God open your eyes to see the spiritual blessings you have in Christ.

PRAYER POINTS:
Heavenly Father, I bless Your holy name for all that You have done for me in Christ Jesus. Thank You for the spiritual blessings You have made available to me. Thank You for salvation, forgiveness, grace, mercy, preservation, divine presence, and every spiritual inheritance I have received in Christ.
Father, open my eyes to recognize Your blessings around me. Deliver me from the habit of focusing so much on what I lack that I forget to appreciate what You have already given me.
Father, Let my heart continually overflow with praise. When circumstances are difficult, give me the grace to praise You. When I am waiting for manifestation, help me to remain confident in Your faithfulness. When I receive my testimony, let me never forget to return all the glory to You.
